Farm Animal Frolic - Harvest Festival - Old Time Christmas

Farm Animal Frolic:

Held the weekend before Memorial Day and Memorial Day weekend in May this program is geared towards children and families. See and touch the baby farm animals including cows, calves, Belgian workhorses, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, pigs & cats.

Daily activites include hay jumping, egg etching and for additional charge pony rides and horse drawn wagon rides (weather permitting).

Harvest Festival:

Held the Saturday and Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend in October, this event presents dozens of craft demonstrations including beekeeping, cider making, spinning, weaving, basketmaking, quilting, hearth cooking, candle making, woodworking, outdoor bakeoven, Civil War encampment and much, much more.

Harvest Festival is held rain or shine (we have tents!)

Country food is served to sounds of folk entertainment, storytelling, children's activities, hand-crafted items for sale, pumpkin patch, quilt raffle and cow flop bingo.

Old Time Christmas:

Held the first two weekends in December this event presents a winter evening on the Farm with guides dressed in period clothing leading you by lantern light through the various buildings and displays.

Experience Christmas in the 1800s with a Christmas Putz display, candlelight, live barnyard nativity, caroling, Belshnikel, free refreshments and a gift shop filled with handcrafted items.
