New this spring !

We have three sessions of this new program for young children. The children will learn about the food that comes out of a garden, will plant seeds in their own garden plot, watch them grow and actually eat some of the harvested plants. Crafts, cooking and eating snacks, and listening to some great books will round out the sessions.
So come on out to the farm this spring, and learn how plants grow!

Session 1

Wednesdays, May 2, 9, 16, 23 from 1:30 to 3 pm
Our own Bonnie Kraeutler, the Pre-school Director of Middle Smithfield Presbyterian Church, will be here this spring to lead a brand new preschool program, Kids in the Garden!
$45.00 for adult and child; additional children are $20 each

Session 2

Fridays, May 18, 25, June 1, 8 from 9:30 – 11:00
This session will be led by Becky Costanzo, a long-time Tour Guide and Homeschool Coordinator here at Quiet Valley. Becky is a licensed teacher and has worked with many different ages of children throughout the years. This will be the same program as the Wednesday class led by Bonnie Kraeutler.
