Kids and Critters We are again offering our program “Kids and Critters” for children ages 2 – 6 and accompanying adult: 1. Wednesdays, May
5, 12, 19, 26, 2010, 1:00 to 2:30 pm (Full - please
call if you would like to be on a waiting list) 2. Thursdays, May 6,
13, 20, 27, 2010, 9:30 to 11:00 am It's time for Kids and Critters! Do you have a little one age 3 to 6? Do you and your child love farm animals? Are you looking for something fun and educational to do with your child? If the answer is "yes" to any of these questions, please join us on the Quiet Valley farm and meet our furry and feathered friends. Each class will meet an animal, and do things like make a craft, sing songs, play games, and have a snack. The programs are run by: 1. Bonnie Kraeutler, a longtime volunteer at Quiet Valley has been doing Kids & Critters at the farm and is the Middle Smithfield Presbyterian Church preschool director. 2. Ashley Hackett, is a graduating student in the History Education program at East Stroudsburg University. She works with young children as a counselor at Buck Hill Falls Summer Camp, and has coached young girls aged 4 to 8 in T-ball, is a nanny in the summer of 4 girls. Ashley has also worked in a day care, taking care of 1 and 2 year old children and she is a volunteer at Quiet Valley. Cost for the four weeks is $45.00 for adult and child; additional children are $20 each. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
