Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm consists of over 100 acres of pasture, woods and fields. The farm buildings at Quiet Valley, including the barn and farm house, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Quiet Valley raises a variety of historically appropriate livestock and fowl that are quickly disappearing from the agricultural landscape. Traditional Pennsylvania crops such as wheat, corn and rye are grown as well. Follow the links below to learn more!


Buildings:
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm is on the National Register of Historic Places with a number of historic buildings that provide visitors with an understanding of life on a small, Pennsylvania farm in the 1800's. Some of our buildings date to the last quarter of the 1700's.

Farm Animals:

Quiet Valley is home to a number of rare breed species of livestock and fowl. The breeds raised at Quiet Valley are the same that one would have found on a small Pennsylvania farm in the 1800's.

Field Crops:

Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm grows a variety of traditional crops in our fields and gardens. We use authentic methods to both plant and harvest our crops and the bounty is used here on the farm.
