In May Quiet Valley comes alive with new baby farm animals. Come and join this celebration of new life. This is a unique opportunity for children (and grown-ups) to see and touch a variety of baby farm animals.

See baby chicks hatching from their eggs and feel the soft fur of the baby bunnies. Don't miss seeing the new lambs with their soft, woolly fleece, or the frisky baby goats. The adorable baby piglets with their funny little noses charm everyone. Come meet Quiet Valley's cow, Bossie, and get to know the Belgian workhorses, Sheri and Lori.

Children always love the hay jump in the barn, and they can play some of the traditional games enjoyed by past generations. Believe it or not, there were plenty of fun things to do in the time before computers and television. Pony rides are available for children and there is a children's show daily a 1 p.m.

Everyone will enjoy a ride in the wagon pulled by our Clydesdale work horses. The wagon ride takes about 20 minutes and takes you down an old railroad bed from the 1800's to the pond where ice is harvested in the winter.

Pony and Wagon Rides are an extra charge and are weather permitting.

There are activities for all ages and plenty of good country food will be for sale, so come and bring the whole family - rain or shine. But please do not bring the family pets (they scare our animals)!
