Quiet Valley is accepting applications for the seasonal position of part-time museum guide/interpreter. Individuals interact with visitors by presenting and demonstrating accurate historical information and activities about the lives of a Pennsylvania German farm family during the 19th century. Work may include the demonstration of 19th century household, garden, and/or farm chores using authentic or reproduction tools and equipment while interacting with school children, organized groups, or the general public. Gift Shop Attendant Volunteer

Quiet Valley is seeking an individual to assist the Gift Shop Manager by helping school children with their purchases and other duties required in a retail setting. Knowledge of operating a cash register and credit card machine, or ability to learn, would be helpful. Requires a commitment of one or more days per week through the end of June.
